The decision to purchase a home is so much more important than investing your money in a 401K. A home purchase will appreciate over time and if you plan to stay in the home for two years or less, you might not see as great a return on your investment as you would if you lived there for three years or more. Now this does not mean that buying is not for you, it just means that you are less likely to see the same return as someone who would live there longer.

3. Are you selling a home to buy a home?
